Amy Lou Adams Amy Lou Adams (born on the 20th of August, 1974 in Aviano, Italy). American actress. Famous for her naive and charming characters. Adams was the daughter of a U.S. Army officer in Italy and then grew up within Castle Rock Colorado. The mid-1990s saw her begin dancing and performing professionally at Boulder's Dinner Theatre in Colorado and Country Dinner Playhouse. In the following year in Minnesota, at a local theater, she was selected to play a role in an unrealized documentary film about beauty pageants called Drop Dead Gorgeous. After making her screen debut as a ditzy but good-natured contestant she moved into Los Angeles to pursue an acting career. The couple also had children Kelly Curtis, Jamie Lee Curtis. Leigh's film career began after signing a MGM deal in the middle of 1940s. She was discovered by actress and model Norma shearer. The actress portrayed Norma in several popular films throughout time, including Alfred Hitchcock's Psycho in 1960, and Living It Up, a Martin and Lewis film that was released in the year 1954.
