Nadia Comaneci - (born on 12th November, 1961 Gheorghe Gheorghiu Dej or now Onesti, Romania), Romanian gymnast. The first gymnast to earn a 10. an Olympic competition. Bela Karrolyi, the Romanian gymnastics instructor who was later Comaneci's coach who first came across Comaneci aged six. At first, she competed in the national junior championships in Romania in 1969 she placed 13th. And in 1970, was crowned champion. In 1972, in the communist nations' meet for junior athletes prior to the Olympics, she won 3 gold and silver medals. In 1973 and '74 she was the junior champion in all aspects. In her first senior competition in 1975 she beat the Russian Lyudmila Turkishcheva. The five-time European champ winning four golds and a silver. In 1976 she became the first person in the world to utilize a reversed double salto in order to take off the parallel bars. Carol Wayne.........................Carol Wayne was an American film and TV actor best recognized for portraying Art Fern's Tea-Time Movie Lady on The Tonight Show Starring Johnny Carson. Her career began in the entertainment industry in her teens performing as an ice skating duo along with the sister Nina Wayne for the travelling entertainment show Ice Capades. Carol Marie Wayne was a born on 6th September, 1942 in Chicago, Illinois. Carol was a professional as an entertainer as a teen. As a young girl she started her career as the figure skater alongside Nina Wayne in the travelling show of entertainment Ice Capades. They featured dramatic skating on ice shows.
